NARS Orgasm and NARS Deep Throat

These are the two blushes that make my guy friends say "What?!!" when they hear it and the reactions on their faces are quite funny. Well, yeah. Orgasm and Deep throat, fine. The funny thing is they couldn't believe these are blushes until I show them these babies. Anyway, when I wasn't still into make up, I always thought it was crazy to name blushes that way. But now, I am loving them to bits.

Okay, I made swatches of these two. Can you tell the difference between the two?




It's hard to tell, right? They look so similar you can't really tell which one is which.

But look here.

The one on the left is Deep Throat and the one on the right is Orgasm.

If you take a closer look, Deep Throat is a little darker than O. As for the shimmers, O is teeny bit more shimmery than DT. As for me, they look pretty much the same on my cheeks, it's just that O has more of this iridescent glow than DT. But both are equally pretty. It seems like Deep Throat complements more skin tone than O, which is based on the reviews at MakeUpAlley. A lot of women said Deep Throat is what they hoped Orgasm would be. But I am satisfied with O and they can never be the same. It's just that I think a lot of people are overwhelmed and somehow intimidated by O's golden shimmers.

The point of this post is not to have them go against each other as they are both so pretty in their own ways. It is to just show the similarity and difference between the two.

Similarity:
- Of course, both are so pretty :)
- Both are on the pink-peach family
- Both look natural on the cheeks

Difference:
- Orgasm is a tad more shimmery than Deep Throat
- Deep Throat is a bit darker than Orgasm
- Orgasm is more pink than peach whereas peach is stronger in Deep throat than pink

That's just it, in my opinion.

So which one do I like better? None. I love them both. :) Since when has it been easy to say both words? Not until NARS came along. ^_^


OT: By the way, I received this really weird message from an unknown number at 10:23PM last night.
Unsub: "Hey Pam, how have you been?"
Me: "Who is this, please?"

Instead of answering my Q, here is what the unsub (unknown subject) replied:

"I'm as human as anyone with weaknesses and strengths. And you're right in saying I'm true as I hope other people will be with me. I do like you and that's as true as anything that you can believe in."

I was like, er, poetic justice? Makata?!


Me: "Er, what are you talking about? Who is this?:
Unsub: "Any bf now?"
Me: "I don't know you. I think telling me who you are is not a difficult thing to do."

And I never heard from the unsub again so I stored that number on my phonebook with the name "Shakespeare" so I can just ignore him/her if I receive another message from that person.

Weird, right? Thinking about who that person could be beats the sh!t out of me. And not a good prank to leave people hanging and wondering who the heck you are.
